The International Creative Arts Alliance (ICAA) is instituted jointly by elites and experts in international art, design and creativity communities. Officially approved by the Hong Kong Government in July, 2015, this non-profitable professional organization is oriented towards creative industries, including architecture, interior design, visual communication, industrial design, new media design, fashion design, contemporary art, music, performing arts, and folk art.
Ever since its inception, with its ample international resources from different sectors and the ability to mobilize them, ICAA has brought in many high-quality projects, including the events series initiated by the government of China that introduce the Chinese culture to the world, the development projects of major art districts and cultural creativity centers, joint endeavors with educational institutions, and solo exhibitions of renowned artists and designers. In the 21st century, when the international society has been restructured, and the functions of governments are adjusted, civil organizations that are independent of governments and the influence of the commercial world are growing in popularity. They play an increasingly crucial part in public services. ICAA has followed this trend, and mustered support worldwide, dedicated to the setup of a broad platform that better facilitates communication and cooperation among the government, businesses, and individuals in art and creative industries.
