This is the first time for X+Q to attend BIFF (Beijing International Furniture Fair), a large-scaled exhibition platform which is international, originally-designed and intelligent. Relying on BIFF, X+Q will release its new brand slogan --- “Happy Art”, and the newest sculptures created by the brand founder, Mr. Xiang Jing and Qu Guangci respectively will be shown. At that time, all audiences at home and abroad will be provided with great surprises and they can enjoy the greatness of visual art.

In March, X+Q released gift series for the first time-- Mini series, a “precious art gift”. It was popular to the public after being released. Actually, Mini series strengthen the power of X+Q in the field of art gift and gifts for friends. On this exhibition, Mini series will be exhibited.
The newest sculptures Who are You and The Kid King created by Mr. Qu Guangci will be exhibited as the major new release.
Who are You was inspired by Rodin’s (a famous French sculpture) Thinker. We know that Thinker is really a great sculpture because what is reflected by it (the physical beauty and philosophical meaning) can still impress the public a lot though this sculpture has been made for more than 100 years. In Jun., X+Q, in order to be in honor of Rodin, released “Who are you”, a cute sculpture originated from the Thinker but has its own uniqueness. Mr. Qu Guangci changed the masculine man into a cute boy. Though you can not see the masculinity but you can see that his facial expression is really strict, looking like that he is in deep thinking. Such a strict facial expression and such a deep thinking are shown by Tu Bibi, making the sculpture full of ambiguity and able to have a meaning of mental analysis.
The King Kid, with the theme of child interest, shows that the perky Tu Bibi, wearing a cloak and putting his hands around his waist, is standing on a ladybird. This artwork was made by Mr. Qu Guangci in 2018, which is quite childlike, from which we can see that the lovely and cute Tu Bibi was re-created by artist, becoming so perky and cocky. This artwork will let us remember what we were like when we were young. Though grow-up is a tough thing, artists keep telling us that when you look back at who you were and what you were like, you still remember the best part of your past. The beautiful memory will be always there.
The best seller --- I Saw Happiness series, made by Xiang Jing for X+Q, are so popular, of which “To Monnai” and “Wave Point Red” have been sold out. So what a pity, you cannot see them on the exhibition. However, you can see other fantastic artworks, like Hello, Vincent van Gogh, Youth · Midsummer jointly created by Xiang Jing and Yan Geling, Midsummer · Emily by X+Q and Le Méridien Etoile etc. Also, there is a good news for you, her new work Blue Tears Never Alone created for X+Q will be exhibited, which will be officially released in Aug. In the exhibition, audiences will have the opportunity to feel the charm of X+Q, the most excellent art brand in China; exactly, you will be impressed by its sculpture shape and technique.
For craftsman series, X+Q has two best sellers -- “Never Gone” and “One Cup”, to be exhibited. For “One Life” series, the classical beer cup released in the summer can be seen on the exhibition. The classical beer cup was inspired by the inverted cones in 1800s, combining with the shaping of silver containers used at the time of “Victoria”. The ravines on the classical beer cup are vertically shaped, which are consistent with “Back In Time” series. This is the first time to use ravines on a cup, which makes the cup more beautiful. Such a design shows the combination between classicism and art decoration.
Classical beer cup was newly released in the summer of 2018, whose inspiration was originated from the inverted cone shaped for the containers of last century. Also, the classical beer cup combined with the shape of silver containers at the time of “Victoria” (the cup handle was simplified). For the beer cup, there are ravines, which are consistent with the “Back In Time” series. This design was first used on the cup, making the cup more decorative. So the whole design of the beer cup is a combination between classicism and art decoration. For the function of the beer cup, it is more stable because the handle can be scratched by four fingers. So it is quite portable. The capacity of the beer cup is well designed, once half a bottle of beer is poured into the cup (500ml), 2.5cm will be reserved for the beer bubble. It’s really fantastic and considerate.
The “One Cup” series released by X+Q is from “One Life” (in Chinese, cup and life has a similar pronunciation), which is designed by Mr. Qu Guangci and which can be used for a whole life. We all know that life is full of toughness and difficulties, so each cup surface is shaped with ravines. Actually, each line, each arc, each concave and convex are carefully considered by the artist. This cup reflects the artist’s thoughts about life.
For exhibition hall design, we are going to continue with the style “being simple” used by other international exhibitions. White will be mainly used. The representative artwork “Rainbow Angel” made by X+Q will warmly welcome you by getting all the rainbow walls in a matrix.
By 2018, X+Q has established for 8 years. The new slogan “Happy Art” delivers that X+Q is to deliver happiness, warmth and sincere to the audiences by gifts, which is also the mission of X+Q.
